Electrify has reached agreement to become George Watson's College's marketing & communications agency.
The School, which is based in Edinburgh, is a leading education charity, providing high quality learning & teaching, as well as remarkable extra-curricular experiences through sport, drama, music and the arts.
Watson's has a roll of over 2,300 pupils from nursery through to sixth year, forming a rich and diverse community of families.
The School is administered by the Edinburgh Merchant Company Education Board, a charity registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (SC009747).
Additionally, the George Watson's Family Foundation (SC004818) was established in 1997 to create opportunities for children who would have otherwise been unable to attend the School to be able to do so.
Following a competitive tender process, during an initial six-month period we're going to (amongst other things):
Amal Palin, the newly appointed Head of Communications at George Watson's College welcomed our appointment.

"The communications department plays a hugely important role in a school and charity of this size. As well as providing a vital internal service to colleagues, we have a responsibility to put parents and pupils at the heart of everything we do.
"Electrify will provide us with the breathing space to help us look at a raft of different elements to what we do, challenging us to think objectively, and ultimately will help us deliver some new ideas."

"This is a School which is amongst the most forward thinking in the UK. It has fantastic sport and music facilities, as well as extensive plans to develop the Junior School - which commence this summer - and build a new creative hub.

"With Amal taking up her post this summer, this is an ideal opportunity to look at everything that is done and ask ourselves some searching questions. There has been some fantastic work done over the years, but the opportunity to go forward now is hugely exciting, and that is why we were so pleased to win this contract."
